IV vitamin therapy at Transcend Clinic, Bangkok

IV vitamin therapy delivers vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids directly into your bloodstream through a drip. Because it bypasses the gut, nutrients reach your circulation in full and at levels that tablets can’t achieve. At Transcend Clinic in Bangkok, every drip is prescribed and supervised by our doctor, who checks that it is suitable for you before you start.

Our IV vitamin therapy drips

  • Myers’ Cocktail (60 min): The best-known multivitamin drip, combining magnesium, calcium, B vitamins and vitamin C. A popular choice for general wellbeing, tiredness and recovery after travel.
  • Double-Strength Myers’ Cocktail (90 min): A higher-dose version of the Myers’ Cocktail for a more intensive infusion.
  • Liver Support (45–60 min): Antioxidants to support liver function, often chosen by people with a high alcohol intake or fatty liver as part of wider lifestyle changes.
  • Energy Booster (45 min): B vitamins and amino acids for when you’re feeling run down and want to support your energy and focus.
  • Skin Health (40 min): Vitamin C and antioxidants. Vitamin C is essential for the body to make collagen.

Before your drip, please tell us if you:

  1. have kidney disease or heart failure
  2. have G6PD deficiency or have had kidney stones
  3. have any allergies, including to vitamins or previous IV treatments
  4. take any regular medicines or supplements

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to see a doctor first?

  • Yes. Our doctor reviews your health history before your first treatment to make sure it is safe and suitable for you.

How often can I have an IV drip?

  • We can safely give a drip once a week, but the right schedule depends on your health and goals. Our doctor will recommend a plan for you at your consultation.

Does it hurt?

  • You’ll feel a small pinch when the cannula goes in. After that, most people relax, read, or work during the drip.

NAD+ IV therapy at Transcend Clinic, Bangkok

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme made from vitamin B3 that every cell in your body uses to produce energy and repair DNA. NAD+ levels fall as we get older, and NAD+ IV therapy at our Bangkok clinic is a way of raising them directly.

What is NAD+?

NAD+ is involved in hundreds of reactions inside your cells. It helps turn food into energy, supports DNA repair and is needed by the enzymes that help cells respond to stress. Because so many processes depend on it, NAD+ has become a major focus of research into healthy aging.

What is NAD+ IV therapy?

Studies show that NAD+ levels decline with age. NAD+ IV therapy delivers NAD+ straight into your bloodstream, which raises levels more reliably than oral supplements, which are partly broken down in the gut. Research into the long-term effects of NAD+ therapy on aging in humans is still at an early stage, and our doctor will talk you through what is and isn’t known before you decide.

Who considers NAD+ therapy?

  • People with low energy or ongoing fatigue
  • Those wanting support for mental focus and clarity
  • People recovering from illness or periods of intense training or stress
  • Those including it as part of a wider healthy-aging plan

What to expect during an NAD+ drip

We offer two doses:

  • 250 mg, given over 1.5–2 hours
  • 500 mg, given over 3–3.5 hours

NAD+ has to be given slowly. If it runs too quickly, some people feel flushing, chest tightness, nausea or stomach cramps. These settle within minutes when the drip is slowed, and our team adjusts the rate to keep you comfortable throughout.

Vitamin D injection at Transcend Clinic, Bangkok

What is vitamin D?

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps your body absorb calcium and phosphate, which keep bones and muscles strong. It also supports immune function. Your skin makes vitamin D in sunlight, and smaller amounts come from oily fish, eggs and fortified foods. Low vitamin D has been linked with a number of other conditions, but large trials such as VITAL found that taking extra vitamin D did not prevent them in people who aren’t deficient.

Vitamin D deficiency

Vitamin D deficiency is surprisingly common in Bangkok, despite the sunshine. Office work, time indoors, air pollution and sunscreen all reduce how much your skin makes. It is also more likely if you are overweight or have conditions that affect absorption.

Possible signs include:

  • Tiredness and low energy
  • Muscle weakness or aches
  • Bone or back pain
  • Low mood
  • Frequent infections
  • Over time, bone thinning (osteoporosis or osteomalacia) and a higher risk of fractures

These symptoms have many causes, so the only way to know is a blood test for 25-hydroxyvitamin D. It’s included in our Advanced and Comprehensive health check-ups.

Vitamin D injection

A vitamin D3 injection at our Bangkok clinic raises your levels quickly and is useful if you’re deficient, don’t absorb tablets well, or find daily tablets hard to keep up with. Injections are usually given every 2–3 months. After 2–3 injections, we check your blood level before the next one to make sure it stays in the right range.

Benefits of a vitamin D injection

  1. Corrects vitamin D deficiency quickly
  2. Supports bone and muscle health
  3. Avoids the need for daily tablets
  4. Followed up with a blood test to confirm your level
